This may be considered a newbie questoin, and i am sorry for that, but i need to know this:

Here are the steps i take-
Turn on Xbox
put in mechassault
mechassault loads
i choose campaign
i choose install linux
IT FREEZES EVERYTIME

All i want to do is to install linux on my xbox using a soft mod and it freezes everytime.I have checked the version of mechassault, the dashboard and kernel version and everything seems to be fine, but it still freezes...wtf. And i also have the install linux file from my action replay memory card transfered onto my xbox hard drive.

Any help is appreciated!
