So I went to the local walmart and walk o the 360 display and was like well I'll see If I can get a better look at this deal since few people were in the place. I turned the corner and found Contact Xbox support screen. Have pics but no where to serve them. The xbox was blinking red and claiming error 74.

these kiosks have only been up a couple weeks too.
given they are on maybe 12 hours a day, maybe 24/7 for some... just not a good sign... last thing i want is a launch 360 that ends up having a version 2 with a critical update.

maybe this is why the supply is limited, to let the hard core gamers find out whats gonna go wrong so they can fix it in a later production.

and LMAO, that border wasnt on the walmart i went to... "best lauch games linup ever"

stop taking stock in kiosks not working. Half the kiosks aren't setup right. Also any consoles at stores almost always dont work. They're just not made for that kind of thing and dont think people using or employees taking care of it will treat it with the same care as there own property either. the xbox will be everything ms sas it will after there not sony making promises that ps3 will also be able to improve your cars gas mileage or something.

Their is a reset butten you know

Follow the plastic flex piece that connectes the controller to the display. Their is a white box that says plug in your memory card here to get a bonus features (or something like that) On the right side of that their is a reset butten.

The Wal-Mart display units are overheating (this has been confirmed) because they are locked up in a glass cabinet with no air vents . None of the other retailers that have demo units are reporting these (heat related) issues .

heat related or not error codes are not a good thing yeah this is a concern, everyone wants so bad (including myself up to now) to believe there is no concern but I have never seen this many issues poppoing up before a system even launches... And as for the air flow well I ran demo systems that were locked up in cases with barely any air flow on display for years and suresystems broke down but never this fast.
