I am trying to go back to the original msdash. I am running Avalaunch now. What files are suppose to be on the C: and what is the step by step method to get my box to boot to the original? This is all in hopes to change a language setting to backup a game I bought Forza... I thought mod-chips would be so much less complicated!!

Can't just boot with the chip disabled? Or have you deleted your original dash?

There all gone... what files am I missing? I have a friend who has the files, but they are all on a folder, and dont know how its suppose to look on C:...

i.e

Fonts (folder)
xboxdash.xbe

Just copy the contents of that folder across to your C: drive.

or you could hook the hard drive up to your computer and use a xboxhdm bootdisk to unlock the hd, rebuild the C: drive to a virgin state, relock the hard drive and you are ready to go
