definitely the easiest way even for idiots

heating up the jewel with the hair dryer and while it's heating up, slowly pull out the jewel by sticking a very fine tipped icepick *worked for me anyway*

should come off nice and smooth

never force the shit tho smile.gif

GL!

I heated it from the inside.
I took the Xbox apart, removed the heat shield, and proceeded to use a hairdryer on the inside of the case.

first off sue MS biggrin.gif
secondly no the xbox letters wont come off (they are etched like you epected) if you sand it or use alcohol to take off the green paint

I dremeled the little tab under the jewel. Steamed the controller for 5 minutes. Used a small flat head to push the jewel out with the hole I created with the dremel. Worked like butter baby! smile.gif

The best way is to talk dirty to it and show it other jewels with the paint off.
