I have a softmodded xbox using the 007 hack
and it works great.
but I am a noob to linux and I would like to know if GENTOOX can be run as an app. because I still wanna play my xbox games with evox..

If this is possoble could someone help me or point me to a tut because I have looked and been unseccesful...

Thank you very much for pointing to that tutorial, I was near to post the same question on Linux as an app on a softmodded xbox.

Do you know if such a similar tutorial exists also for Xebian or Dynebolic?

I have a softmodded (NDURE MA savegame exploit) XBOX (no modchip) where I installed XBMC as main dash.
I would like to launch a Linux Live CD for XBOX (Dynabolic) but when I browse the CD content from XBMC and then launch the default.xbe file on the CD, the screen turns black and the system freeze.

Do you know what could be the issue preventing me to launch dynebolic? (my current xbox kernel release is 5101)

Note: I'm not very familiar in recompiling the whole distr, that's why I would prefer to look for a different distro than gentoox
