Xbox (1) Games On The Xbox 360, They should now load three time faster?

The Xbox has a 2x (inside) - 5x (outside) speed, and I think the new Xbox 360 DVD-ROM drive is roughly three times faster (8x - 12x ?) So will the games now load 3x faster, or will the 'emulator' slow things down to the original speed? Cheers, Bourkie
