i want to but a crystal case and make it slim but i also want to keep the hard drive and DVD could you please give me a bit of help. I would also like to make the box as small as possile, could i possibly make the PSU external sortof like a laptop psu?

why dont you make an external dvd drive??
yea you should b able to make the psu external, i dont think it would be hard to do, but it would probably be hard to make it look decent

Yes.
You can make the PSU external, you can make the DVD-ROM external, you can even make the HDD external. But these external items take away from the cool factor.

I'd say the best way for you do get what you want, is to make a standard slim box, and make ports on teh back of the Xbox, for hooking up an external DVD-ROM drive. So you won't sacrifice anything.

well if i make the dvd external and add a laptop HD and make it slim i hade a weird idea, you know those projector clocks i thought i could add one of them and possible program it ?? could i do this?

ye the search is faulty, maybe program the projector to say if there was a cd in or that the Xbox is on or something like that

It is, just get use those IDE convertor thingers, it won't read originals though.

Search feature is so much fucking better, try it with that google search for xs-scene.

And with a slim box you can keep the mother board and psu where it is.

If you wanted a dvd drive and hard drive is recommend a laptop dvd drive but you could use a normal hard drive.

Mount the laptop dvd above the psu and right side of the motherboard, do the switch, dvd drive ejecting on the other side tongue.gif or you may be able to have the hdd and dvd drive both on the one side.
