I was looking at the directory tree of San Andreas the other day as I was copying the contents of my old 80gb hdd over to my 160 gb hdd and noticed that there was a file named gta3.img in the main directory. It's about 700 mb, and i have no idea what this file does. i'm curious to see if perhaps it allows you to play GTA3 through some loophole or hack, or accomplished mission in the game? i'm sure that someone would have discovered it by now, but i haven't seen anything online. perhaps i could burn the image to a disc and see what happens? i know that the pc version of gta3 is 2 discs, but only one of them is used to play, the other is an installer.

just a thought.

no its for gtasa its the main files. they just never renamed it. all gta games use the same engion thats why.

I wonder if this file would some how link all the GTA's for xbox together and maybe someone could make it possible to pick between versions in game.
