I am not too familiar with exactly which versions of windows have been ported to the xbox without emulation, or if this has been done already, but what about DOS 6?

The source is "avaliable," you should know where I mean. And as far as I know, DOS has never been open source.

I would do it myself, but I lack the knowledge to do it. Wouldn't this be a step forward in running windows (however slowly) on the xbox without emulation?

I know there are DOS emulators, but isn't running the real thing so much better?

Please, tell me if I'm wrong about any of this, but I couldn't find anything that said it had been done before.
