listen... just stay away from amped 3... it's lousy. i suggest amped 2 by far. i was really hoping for this game too. grr.gif

quick review:

graphics: it looks just like amped 2 but with annoying little retro pop ups

music: i never listen to videogame music anyway... i always have hawaiian music playing instead.

gameplay: it's not as... um... amped 2 was just so much better...

replay value: none, i already traded it buy call of duty 2.

i didn't check ign on this game... i don't normally anyway but i agree with them on this one.

loved amped 1 and 2 but by reading up on this one i knew they dumbed down the gameplay and tried to make it more "mainstream" which means deluted and stupid. its a shame but hey maybe now they will learn that trying to make a game more "hip" isnt the way to go. that and the graphics didnt look any better then amped 2 which is a damn shame for a next gen game.

seems my first impressions of amped 3 were spot on. Maybe its good we havent seen news of a Rallisport 3, Id rather have the series fade away than have the 3rd part ruined like the amped series sad.gif

Yea my initial impressions from early videos made the gameplay and feel of the game way too different from the first two installments of the series. It's a shame it was one of my favorite series on the xbox.

The whole Amped series sucks. Amped 2 was ok I enjoyed playing it a bit.

yee amped 3 sux. just got it today. ive bin looking forward to it for some time now and when i saw that the guy finished the trix himself and it whent in to some weard slomo when i jumped and things the only thing that came to my mind was ssx. games for the masses. mad.gif

Amped 1 was awesome! it was one of those games, that if it didnt come for free, then you would never play it, but it came with my buddies xbox and was actually a fun game!

I rented this just the other day and played it last night. I think the little story things are pretty funny and seems like they were on crack while they did them. The snow looks pretty bad but the surroundings are pretty kewl. The gameplay is alright and i picked up on it pretty fast but its really confusing on what your supposed to do. It took me like 20 minutes of deciding on where to go. Its dumb how they have it set up as well when you goto the hill and choose one of the slopes to do then you have to set a point to drop off the lift and you have to go down to that spot on the hill to start your challenge, its really dumb!! The acting is terrible and voices are dumb. Its a fun game but i sure wouldnt buy it.
