I took video of it but unfortunately i don't know how to compress video and i have 60mb files for 20 seconds!!

But here is how my system is set up as you can see the 360 is complete unobstructed ( i even tried it laying down as well still get locked up )

IPB Image

another view of the entire set up.. ( don't mind the error on the tv screen, i was backing up a copy of my red dead revolver because it got scratched up it wouldnt save the file /sigh ) and the tv doesn't have those dark lines when playing I don't know why when i take pictures of my tv it does that ( i think cause its a projection ) and the tv is HDTV.

You showed us where your 360 cosole was but you did not show us where your power supply is. It is just as important to keep it out in the open with plenty or room to cool itself.

Keeping ur 360 in plenty of air does NOTHING for it..I had my 360 AND the power supply infront of my tv (like on the floor below it) and it still frooze up and flashed red lights. I also have a wood floor. I sent mine back to M$.

Actually I had problems until I gave mine better cooling. I know you're upset because you had problems but do not speak for everyone because this is clearly not true in all situations.

How is that? He didn't mention his power supply nor did he show a pic of where it was.

You should keep your xbox 360 layed down, because when you stand it up, you are blocking the main ventalation for the 360. Then you should make sure that your fan on the power supplie is open to the most air.

The power brick is between the tv and the stand. there is probably at least 2 feet of clearence back there. I have it at an angle so that air can pass all sides on it.

I have played the system with it on its side and standing. I shouldn't have to lay it on its side considering that M$ has pretty much ALWAYS advertised the system as a vertical system. I should have the choice. Laying it flat also takes up a lot more room that I really don't have.

It freezes during game play. I have played and beat Gun, I have played and beat Condemned no problems with those 2 games, but NBA live 2006 and Perfect Dark 0 I get about 5 minutes into either game and it just freezes. I get no red lights, the powerbrick light stays green as well. The system is not very hot to the touch.

I have contacted M$ and they are sending me a box to send it in and get it fixed. Until I get the box I am trying to call every local walmart to see if they got more stock because if they have I will just return it and exchange it but if by next friday no luck I will mail it in to have it fixed.

haha yah i can solve all ur problems....just run a vent off ur air conditioner to the shelf ur 360s on...
.

but actually on a more serious note...i have a floor vent by my tv so i think ima make some type of stand that still allows air from the floor vent to direct at my 360
