Here is the way I did it.
I took 12V from the pin on the FET which controls the fan, this goes to the main 12V line, so there is no problem drawing current from it.
I also installed a DPDT switch to select between normal and jet mode tongue.gif the switch only pokes out a few mm from the case.

if you don't want the switch, just pull the red and brown wires from the connector and solder them to the 3rd pin on the fet (see picture), which is dead easy.
(hint for soldering to the pin; try 'tinning' the pin/pad first, heat it up with a soldering iron and add a bit of solder with the other hand. tin the wires too, then you can just touch the wire to the pin and melt the solder together.)

no rolleyes.gif Microsoft will not know you have done it, unless you send them your xbox.
and you should be able to run any 12v fan off it. as long as it doesn't draw more than about half an amp.
i am assuming you want to replace the fan with another one

Kind of an oxymoron, don't you think?

lol
probably the best thing I could do is to cut out the metal fan grill, and drill each hole in the plastic case larger.
that way it would reduce noise, increase airflow and still look ok
or just cut the entire fan grill out and stuff the looks...

what yaywoop said will reduce the noise but i really don't care about the noise because the Tv mostly covers the sounds of the fans so no problems and i bought it for the looks

Note: Yaywoop i wired the fans the same way you did except i just used the nitro switch instead of a dpdt and it`s being working beautifully

So, the images in the OP are messed up. Is there a chance that can be fixed? I don't like working blind.
