Just Not Impressed With Xbox 360 Options

Hi ive been reading on these forums for ages now and i have been very excited about the new xbox 360. Ive always bought consoles ever since the snes.

Now, the other day i bought the new xbox 360 - i didnt preorder for some stupid reason, but was lucky enough to be pre warned that comet were selling 10 more a few mins before they actually went on sale, so i snapped one up. Its a core edition and i have got fifa and kong kong for it.

However after buying a Hi def cable for it, all i can say is im not impressed at all. I am absolutely disgusted with fifa, due to the appauling framerate issues, specially when viewing replays.

King kong is better, no frame rate issues at all that i can see, but the graphics arent what i would call 'next gen' at all. In fact ive just upgraded my computer (3500+ 64, 1gb, o/c'd x800gto to x850pe speeds) and im playing a lot on f.e.a.r and its miles better than king kong. visually.

At this rate im gonna sell my xbox 360 i dont think its as good as the hype made it up to be. which is a shame, i loved the xbox

Whats wrong with COD2 or PDZ? Those are 2 of the best launch games in my opinion. Condemned is also good. The fact that you don't want to check out either of the 2 best games seems like you really didn't want a 360 in the first place.. If you just want to bash go somewhere else to do it because so far everything you have said has been answered and compared to previous launches that showed the same... If you expected perfection of the next gen hardware with the games you bought you really should of waited for the second round of games like summerish... So if its all that bad like your saying just go and sell it... somebody here would love to buy it then you get choose whether or not you want to get another one when they start looking "next-gen"

Get Kameo and PGR3. Not FPS and both look amazing.

Other than that give it a chance, next year we will start seeing the stuff that starts using the amazing hardware.
