has anyone else completely wiped their xbox hd accidently b/c i by accident i deleted the programming. now i made one wrong turn and wiped the whole programming. this made the hd unusable by computer or xbox is there anyway i can get my drive's original programming? i have an xecuter 3 ce chip and the xbox just frags. (i can't detect the hd at all by comp or by xbox) i am pretty sure i am screwed butjust want to make sure if there are any oppurtunities to get it back working...

what type of hard drive is it? model number and manufacturing date would help.

u guys dont get it i completely cant pick up the hard drive. its so messed up no ms dash nothing i cant back through flashfxp nothin i dont think by disc it will work either so i am screwed. no way to detect the hd. no flash bios mode nothing is on the hd. unusable. u know hd bios well not there. i mean the whole programming of a hd the factory western digital bios

Did you try holding the white button on your xbox controller while you turn on the power to your xbox. This should allow you to access the x3 bios. then you should be able to access your harddrive.

Wait you deleted the hard drives bios? How in the hell did you go about doing that? If thats what happened the drive is junk. Nail it to the wall and buy a new one.

If there is no picture when you turn the Xbox on, there is something else wrong.

You can pull the hard drive out of the Xbox and it will still turn on (It will just give you the error screen)
