The answer will vary from person to person, and in the end, they are all correct in some way shape or form.
Less games overall, less games they like, its not a Sony.
I used this comparison in another thread and I'll do it again here...
-Assume all things are equal, put a ps3 and a 360 infront of the Japanese public.
-take ALL media functions out of BOTH systems so they are Nothing but game machines and offer nothing different to entice the gamers one way or the other.
-make Ridge Racer 6 the ONLY title available at their launches.
-make them launch on the same day.
-lets get outrageous...make the ps3 $100.00 more than the 360.
When the dust settles on that launch day, the ps3 will have sold 1.5 million systems, while the 360 would walk away with a couple thousand.
Same system, capable of the same things graphically, no extra functions seperate the 2, and the 360 is the cheaper one....
If someone disagrees, by all means Please do so(hopefully in a mature fashion). You could put a dent in this by saying "the japanese are buying more ps3s because they know down the line it will offer them more of the gametypes they like" and you'd be correct.
Did I forget 2 add -lets say RR 6 is the only game out for the first 9 months- ?

Now Im just typing out my @$$, exiting....
