Dvd-rom Has Finally Ticked Me Off.

The Xbox 360 DVD-ROM is annoyingly loud. I stuck up for the 360 the first week it was out by saying, "well, its new technology, just deal with it", but I agree now. This thing is so loud that I have to purposely turn my volume up extremely loud to drown out the noise, and closing my entertainment center door does no good. I don't know what to do.. It's really to the point where I either just want to send it to MS to see if they have a newer, quieter replacement, or just return it/eBay it. Any suggestions? Thanks for reading my rant. -Chris

Good point... Was there an update yet on swapping DVD-Drives? I remember the only post I saw said that it didn't work, because of the firmware. The drive is somehow locked, etc. Here's to hoping those of us with loud DVD drives can upgrade at some point in the future to the quiet model. In the meantime, I don't care if it is loud as long as it keeps working
