yeah...so i just talked to my girlfriend she is an assistant manager at a local EB games...
and acording to her there is NO set release date for dead or alive 4 anything you hear or read from a store is BS acording to her she could get it tomorrow or next week she doesnt know.
so basicly its out when its out...

its not just eb games, and the reason behind it is the delay the game keeps getting pushed back
so there is no way to ball park when it will come in...

i dont know how valid this info is, if xombie reads this maybe he can clarify, but there is a report that DoA4 is already out in japan....

According to this post on the XBox.com forums, Dead Or Alive 4 has been released in Japan. Now, if the poster is to be believed, we should see this game hit shelves here in the US in hte next day or so. Tagged with rumor for now since it is based on a forum post, but here's to hoping!

either way when i called EB they said its still on track for release tomorrow. what i find weird is that there wasnt any announcements of the game even going gold. for such a high profile game like this you would think that announcements or atleast a mention would be made of it going gold.

well his gamer card shows that he's played it and completed story mode AND he doesn't have the developer "launch" achievement in his profile... so I believe him... Now if they would get it over here I'd be a happy camper smile.gif

People who were on development teams for launch titles/hardware have an item in their list of games titled "Xbox 360 Team"

MOST game developers I know have this but some dont... I think the achievment may have been pre-loaded on the dev team Xbox 360s so if they didn't use it they might not have it:

I spoke to the manager in person late yesterday at my local GameStop in SoCal and told me that the game will be in the store today but won't be selling it till Thursday. Look pretty credible to me but at the same time they also said that I could buy two 360's as long as I get two reservations then at the last minute they said that they will only handout one per family.
