anyone know if its possible to use the xbox psu as a psu for a (obviously) low power computer? if so, what is the max wattage and anyone know the current on the rails? anyone ever tried it? let me know. thanks
The xbox360 psu is 12V only (and 5V standby), so no it cannot be used as a computer PSU.
The Xbox 1 PSU's are a no-go either. The 1.0-1.5 supplies have only 3.3v standby (computers use 5v), and the 1.6 supply is just plain weird and does not have any sort of 3.3v supply.

Why not just buy a power supply? It would save you the trouble. Some times it better to not be a cheapo.
no, i want a small power supply, one that doesn't take up so much space b/c i was gonna build a small PC, like real small. i might try to get a shuttle power supply, but i had an extra xbox one laying around.
