and now xbox has been rebooted to the original dash... and I can't connect the ftp....

I am using an xecuter2 chip and the harddrive has not been locked so I cannot get to the xcecuter screen

Please help.

I think if you leave the white button pressed when you turn ON xbox, you get to the X2 OS, you can FTP from there.

you could also try coldbooting a evox boot disc, or Slayer's since it is probably still booting the alt. bios

It "works" meaning it boots up and I can play games
but instead of booting to the EVOXdash.xbe it boots to xboxdash.xbe

EVOXdash.xbe is THERE just been renamed to EVOXDASH.bak

I need to FTP into the XBOX but the problem is that I cannot boot up the xbox so that it gets an IP address. and the standard "xboxdash.xbe" doesn't give you an IP address.

is there some bootdisk I can put in to boot up and get onto the network
