Hey Everyone, basically i made a wired type s controller work on my pc by making an xbox dongle cable the other end to hook up to a usb male cable. It works fine no issues.

But now i want to go wireless (I hate wires in my room, its small enough with my Tv, Soldering Station and Large Pc Monitor).

So my wireless xbox eclipse controller has no dongle feature just plugs directly into the xbox itself. I have a bunch of extra controller ports lying around i would like to modify but want to get your input first.

So I assume it should work the same way my idea was to: First cut one of the ports loose from the dual controller port holder. Then cut the wires at the back. Match colour for colour.

Will it work the same way? If the hardware supports this which it should ( i assume ) will XBCD the Software for the Xbox Controller work for the Wireless Eclipse controller?

Thank You for any input you may have.
