The funny thing is... everyone is so concerned about voiding the warrenty... thats their excuse for not doing it... wait 3 months (90 days) then you can mod away... I SWEAR they built the xbox the way it is to be easily modded... Note the torx screws... Theyre easily accesible..., and anyone with a toolbox and a knack for fixing cars has em... Its just too simple.

By the way... Nice window... i just spent well over 5 hours trying to get my cuts and everything nice.

*Plexiglass hand-cutter/scraper...
*Scroll Saw
*A Pneumatic Cut-off tool
*160, 400, 414 grit sandpaper
*pocketknife
*Dremel w/ sander, buffer, grinding wheels

it took forever. but its as good as i'll get. I'll post some later.

Probably because he had something to add to the discussion, much unlike you.

On topic: What's the average time and difficulty of a fan installation?

Since you went with the rigid look on the window, why not do the same with the DVD drive. I'd say make it look like something exploded out of it. It'd require a little more paint but I think it'd work.

Something that looks like this:

Except matching the color.

Well here is my box. added front fan header to supply 12v power to amd core cooler, made shroud to blow air through both heat sinks into exhaust fans. need to add the lights still painted inside of case bright neon green that shows through vent holes. 3 coats of satin clear for durability. didn't want the shine to take away from the paint. I still need to hit the face plate with some silver to tie it alll together.
