I don't know what the deal is with the voice communicator. I can't get it to work. Its plugged in correctly, volume is turned up high enough both on the headset and in game, it's not on mute and according to the dashboard i'm on the games channel. I have tried two games and I can see that other people are talking as the speaker next to their name has waves coming out of it. Tried two controllers and I recorded a voice message and it played fine through the headset. What am I doing wrong?

Haha, I had this problem too. The Xbox Live permissions are set at the lowest setting, go to xbox live settings, log into the parent Passport, and set everything live to the highest allowences.
