drive across a the birdge in new york on the in dash cam in 720p widescreen and tell me thats not the most realistic thing youve seen when its come to racing games

this is a high resolution/high res texture, HDR, high polygon version of forza basically....best looking racing game to date so either live with it or trade it in its no ones problem but yours

Anyways to the original poster, check your video settings on the dash and make sure they are right, are you on a HDTV? This game is gorgeous on my HD DLP 46" and thats not even close to as good as it gets so maybe its time for you to buy a new tv?

I'll admit PGR3 was toutedt to be better, and given the system capabilities it should have looked much better graphically (save for the time contraints), but NFS is about the worst piece of commercial garbage I have ever spent money on. I wish I could get a refund on that piece of crap.

When i play a $60 on a $400 system I think it should be smooth, and the frame updates should sync to the monitor refresh. As it is the top half of the screen and bottom half are always displaying 2 different frames with horrible image tearing. You can even see this in screenshots.

EA, ever heard of vsync?

While a lot more realistic than NFS:MW, PGR3 isn't close to the realism that Forza offers.

Don't get me wrong, I love PGR3, and could definitely just as fun as Forza, but I think Forza is very very "sim like" and PGR3 is still an arcade racer.

while i dont think nfs is a viable canidate either...i do think that this game cant hold a candle to forza. for me the realism just isnt there.

PGR3 is friggin awesome in 1080i. It's as real as it can get. Drifting in it is like the best drift races than any other games i've played.

Quit compareing a sim racer to an arcade racer, there different. The argument wasnt which was better anyways, just that he thought he wasted his money. Forza is a great game but so is PGR3.
