Can i just the small pinheader(12 pins) on an x3 and give it 5v from the extra 5v point or do i need to use the full pinheader

From looking at the tutorial even though it looks like pins 13,14 and 15 arent used they must be other wise you wouldnt need to solder them in, so the answer to your question is NO you cant use a 12 pin header you need to use the 16 pin header>

Needs the full pinheader m8 with the 5v pin removing aswell as an LPC rebuild
