Hello

I just got my xbox with evox installed and among others hddloader. I managed to burn a dvd from a game image and copy it via hddloader to the xbox hdd. Now I also managed to get a connection via cuteftp but I have NO IDEA where or how to copy these image files.

I tried the CXBOX Tool but that didn't work. Can anybody please help?

(and yes, I did search the forum but couldn't find any help) uhh.gif

Yep I'm a first timer...

I'm trying to copy games (iso image) from pc to the xbox.

Problem:
1. I can connect via ftp to the xbox, but don't know where to copy it.
2. I can't just copy the iso files, and deamon can't mount them.

Now, chose what drive on your hdd you want, if its small i recommend E:/ Find the file called Hdd loader on that drive, not the one in apps. if you look inside that file it will have games that are most probably named like Pxgame0 Pxgame1 etc..

im guessing that the game on your pc isn't an iso and an actucal game folder or whatever with folders and nested files and folders or whatever like with nfs most wanted when you opened up the game it should read:

NFS----- folder
dashupdate.xbe------xbe file
default.xbe--------xbe file
update.xbe-----xbe file

if your game looks something like that, then ( asuming your using flashFXP ) whole game in it, and open HDDfolder on your xbox, right click on the Folder with the game and click transfer, heres a pic,

IPB Image

then when its complete it should be on your games folder on your dash..

1. Nope, it's an iso file. Example: Halo2.iso I tried to mount it with deamon tools and then copy the actual files but that doesn't work. How do I get the files?
2. Should I edit the gamelist.txt?

I think I got it now... Only thing remaining is how to handle the iso files. There must be an exstractor somewhere.

Download this:

http://dwl.xbox-scene.com/~xbox/xbox-scene...ls/xISOv115.rar

It will allow you to extract the iso.
