All I want is to ftp in to XBMP.
user xbox
ip xbox
passwd xbox

added entries into file zilla.xml
added plain passwords, encrypted passwords etc..
using about 3 contradicting faqs..
Ive read and re-read the sticky at the top of this forum...
My real problem is that the file zilla xml file is NOT read. When i change the welcome message in filezilla.xml its not displayed when I ftp in manually using command line prompt from pc.....

Some one help....

does your home setting in config.xml reflect where your XBMP files are ?

e.g. . .

<home>e:\apps\xbmp</home>

^^^^ this path exists on my xbox HDD and is where my XBMP files reside
