ok ive tried both the xclamp mod and the 12 cent fix, still nothing, but now since i tried the 12 cent fix when i turn the 360 on its side, the non hard drive side, the light will jump from the 1st quad to the 2nd quad and will blink at a different speed from the others. when i lay it back down flat it will go back to the 1st. does anyone know about this?

hey guys, i went through the first page list of errors and couldnt find the problem im having and i thought i found someone who had the same problem i did on page 38 i think it was but no one really talked about it or anything so i thought id try to explain my problem here. my apologies if this has already been covered. i searched the forum and google for hours now.
it seems random, my xbox freezes within 20 seconds of it being on or within half an hour. it can happen in the dashboard or while playing a game(ive tried multiple games). it does it with the harddrive in and with it out. half the time the freeze is accompanied by a large screech that lasts less then a second but not every time. i dont get any red rings and when i reset i get no error codes or anything.
so thats all i can think of thats important for now, any help would be greatly appreciated.

To all of you experiencing 3 ROD (0102) try this!
Again this is for error code 0102
Let your Xbox360 3 ROD run for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then turn it off and turn it back on quickly, it might boot up. Mine does (almost) everytime.
I'm guessing this works because you heat eather your GPU or CPU back in contact with the motherboard. Rebooting with your xbox 360 while heated up might allow it to function properly for a few days if left turned on (not recommended).
(This has only been tested with my box giving the 3 red lights error 0102 and should not be taken too seriously)

this is my first time on this forum, i tried searching for code 11, 011, 11, and for some reason it just keeps giving me an error message.
i had the ring of death, did the "fix" and added the pennies under the RAM chips, and it worked for 5 months and then i got it again. this time tho when i did everything again, and i did the washer mod, i just get the 2 bottom lights flashing. i found this site and saw that i should check the heatsinks to make sure they are tight on the cpu and gpu chips. i took it apart again and looking at it it looks like the heatsinks are touching, i tighten everything up as tight as i think proper but i still get the code 11.
what am i doing wrong?

Im getting an E68 but only when my hard drive is in. when i take it out it works fine. I assume that something is wrong with my hard drive, but it says its a voltage problem. Anyone have an idea as to what the problem may be?

Error E60... Anyone know anything? It's a hard drive error, I think, since the 360 still works when the hard drive's out. I just got the hard drive and the 360's fairly new, and I'd like to know what's wrong.
EDIT: It's actually E68... Voltage error. What's wrong?

Awhile Back, I mysteriously got an E69 error code. Hard Drive Failure, It turns out. So, I just used my memory card to play. I have scoured the internet looking for a solution as to how to recover my saved games, themes, gamer pics, downloads, etc. with no luck. Now, I discover xbox-scene. Any chance someone here could help me out. I have tried just about everything I could think of, with no luck. All M$ told me was to send it to them so they could format it and send it back to me. Ok, but I still lose my data! Needless to say, I passed on that offer. 90+ hours of Oblivion down the drain is way to much to take! Anyways, every time I connect my hard drive, I get the same E69 error. I remove the hard drive, it works. I use memory card, it works. I connect my brother's hard drive, it works. It just refuses to work with mine attached. Please Help and Thanks in advance for your time.
