I have the " E73: General Hardware Error: Ethernet port... this error is caused by a problem with the Ethernet port." Error.

I use wireless adapter, and not ethernet port. Any way to fix this?

Yes, this information came from xboxhacker post http://www.xboxhacker.net/index.php?topic=11779.0

and you took it and put it into your list word for word. You guys also clearly didn't read the post because you still have wrong error reasons on here. Idiots.

I can't see that post because I don't have an XBH account (or if I do I haven't been on there in years and can't remember my password)

As I said in my PM I only post information that people send me here, I take ZERO credit for anything that is in this sticky... all I do is organize it I even state this at the end of the sticky before the credits.

This sticky has been around since 2006... with only minor updates about every month or so.

In the same breath you said we copied you word for word and then you said we didn't read it because it's incorrect... so which is it?

Do you want to help out and set things right or do you just want to come here to flame people?

1) Some of your extended reasons for errors are bullshit

2) For someone who calls others who post this list scumbags, you sure don't check your sources

3) making an xboxhacker account takes 2 seconds

4) No I think I'll stop here. I was going to post more info but nevermind.

Honestly, I think what he wrote was very useful, and you should at least bold his name in the credit list

Just thank the people I thanked, change your stupid ass led code 0 naming to 4, take another look at what i wrote for the errors before appending garbage reasons, and I'll be happy.

Hello iso smile.gif

The only reason it's listed as 0 instead of 4 is because that's how it was explained to me, and it's been that way since 2006 when the list was first created... the person who gave me that information apparently got it directly from someone inside MS... if you have a good reason why I should change it beyond calling me an idiot I would be happy to.

Also I DID try registering at XBH but I STILL can't see your post

IPB Image

My "sources" are people who send me PMs and say "Hey I found out THIS for error code X" I don't know how exactly I'm supposed to "check" that, particularly when whatever they give me isn't able to appear in any search engine and I'm physically locked out of where the source actually exists.

I only do this because I'm trying to help out. You feel you've been wronged and I've been doing everything I can to try to set it straight but it's hard to do when I just get a random PM calling me a scumbag and accusing me of things without actually giving me anything to go on.

i sent my elite back because it had a small fault but worked fine just wanted to see if MS could sort it out. got it back with a flashing light pattern of to red at the top two green at the bottom and they keep switching every second wont give a secondary error and no display if you plug it in to the network cable after 30 seconds it stops doing this an give an e49 error code with one red light but will still not give a secondary error code.
microsoft say there live test reported it as modded but this is not the case, but they wont touch it any way.
could do with some advice please.

That is not a hardware failure. Basically you're going to need microsoft to fix that for you because it's looking to be reprogrammed. If you truly didn't mod your box I would called and ask to speak with someone in charge and not deal with the regular phone lackies. If you did modify your console, man up and go buy a new one because it's your own fault and I don't blame them for not fixing it.

truly not modded but can not get anyone at microsoft to sort it out as they say I tried to mod it and there test software is 100% accurate. LOL.
bought this console new the same month it says it was manufactured so find it hard to believe it was swapped before I got it either, its never left my house so no one else could have modded it.
some call center robot tried to claim whatever was uploaded could have come from another modded console that I had used my memory unit on. they do liketo makethings up at the call center.

E80: Dashboard Error - Wrong LDV version in NAND Flash: This is in new dashboard. You have the update but haven't R3T6 resistor. You can:
-Downgrade to old dashboard, solder back the resistor and then update your xbox
-If you have CPU Key, get current NAND Flash image and fix LDV (just add 1 up to latest kernel). (See error 1100)

1100 See Error E80

I loled.
