QUOTE(xboxlovers77 @ Aug 3 2009, 11:07 AM) *

yep...i have two of those..All Falcon..none succesfully. heatgunning, reflow, oven, penny...hybrid fix all of them...none
never ending 0100010103010 (or something like that) or sometimes give code only 0103..
i think it's RAM/ANA Related (reflow with overmeasure temperature) since the GPU was OK...it "Green" for one night...and the next day those disaster came...

It's probably RAM related because i had 0013 then i focused my heat gun on the RAM chips (probably longer than I should have) and now I have the error you and the other guy have.

MESSAGE TO THE XBOX-SCENE ADMIN/MOD of this topic:

I got the 3rrod with secondary error code 0201 and fixed it by heatgunning the H/ANA chip and GPU. I believe it to be related with E16.

Also E73 is an issue with the Ethernet port yes… but I believe it can also be caused by a cold solder joint between the GPU and the Ethernet port. I heatgunned the area between the GPU, H/ANA chip and the Ethernet port and fixed the problem.

i've had this error code 2 or 3 times... or something simular.....

turns out reflowing the gpu chip fixed it each time.

i've also been have successful repair with the e73 buy reflowing the
cpu chip not the southbridge chip.

e73 is a general error meaning that the communications from a device
that is connected with the southbridge is is failing startup tests.

so that could be anything to do from the hdd/gpu/cpu/ethernet port/usb ports...
pretty much anything...

but the cpu reflow has fixed this problem 3 different time for me.

When will anyone ever learn. The E73 error is specifically that the GFX HSIO training failed. It is part of the gpu edram initialization function. This has absolutely nothing to do with the ethernet controller and has been proven so many many times by people on xboxhacker. The only accurate information in this thread was taken from xboxhacker and thrown into this mess of a thread. I suggest you all stop trying to replace your ethernet controls because those are only errors E75, E76, and E77.

It's funny to me that someone can repair 0102 by fucking with the gpu. That's a memory error.

Question for you experts here...

I've been fixing RRoD for the past few weeks using the llama method of the x-clamp fix and have had 4 of them work fine.

last night I tried to do another one and it did not fix it.

I checked the error code and it is 0110 which is the E20 code.

I haven't had time to check it out since last night because it was late, but plan on messing around with it tonight. I am going to try and check out the RAM chips and see if anything looks funky on there.

But is there any specific methods that people recommend for fixing the E20 error or where I should focus my attention? I don't have a heatgun, and am not even sure where to get them or what they are, but if it will help with fixing RRoD's I may pick one up.

My first 360 lasting more than 3 years finally got the RRoD with error 0102.

Is this a GPU error or RAM error?

With my experience on about 30 of RROD console with error 0102 is GPU related.
85% of error 0102 had been recovered with GPU reflow alone.

well i tihnk I may have jacked this 360 up for good...

it went from the E20 error (which I tried to heat gun around the RAM chips like 3x and didnt get any luck) and the last time I tried the heat gun I kept it on there for quite some time because I was getting nowhere.

Now when I turn on the 360. the center light turns green for a second then the console cuts off.

Anyone have any idea what this is, or if it's just completely dead now? Not a huge deal since someone gave me this for free.

so I got a refurbished console from someone here, a zephyr motherboard. i use a 10a 125v power cord. to my knowledge it's 203v power brick. when i plug in the console and turn it on, it gives me error 0110. However, when i leave it plugged in to my surge protector for a while, it gives me the green light. what would be the problem in this situation?

4114 is memory related. So that's strange. Why don't you try using the power brick you're supposed to with it....

and 4142 is memory related as well, part of the north bridge init. If you're fixing it by doing something else, good for you, but that's what the error means.
