That sucks albcool. Mine did the shutoof thing but came back automatically and all was updated. See if it works without the hard drive, and the try again with the hard drive...maybe it's just got a headache. I hope we don't see widespread update failures. Looks like MS might be using their Windows OS team to write the updates ohmy.gif !

Never, and this already is my second xbox. First one overheated and died. But up until now this one was working great.

What does the update do? I downloaded it and everything is still the same, I still cant download and browse the dashboard at the same time.

For the record, your dash most likely won't update itself right away, so Major Nelson's advice is as follows:

Sucks - looks like from the screenshots posted in this thread you HAVE to update in order to log into Live. I guess I'll have to do it...if this thing screws up my perfect 360 system right now, I'm going to lay a world of hurt into MS.

AFTER THE SYSTEM UPDATE THE KIOSK DISK WON'T BOOT !

I try it 3 times, but the disk won't boot. Before the update it run fine !!!

PLS CHECK IT OUT !

did it fix any issues with CoD2 multiplayer? cause it lags pretty bad after I play about 3-4 games blink.gif
