Can someone with a power meter like Kill-a-watt help me out here?

I am planning to use my 1.0 xbox as a pure linux server with cromwell, xebian and 2 x 400GB HDDs. However I am worried that it might just act up as a space heater shooting up my electricity bills.

I remember seeing that xbox consumes around 100w of power when operating. given that I wont be running graphics intensive stuff and definitely no GUI (its a server) how much electricity would it consume ? If the consumtion is around 100w or so when idling the n I might be better off with a PentiumM setup I guess.

Do the later gens of xbox (1.1, 1.2, 1.3 etc) use lesser power than 1.0 xboxes

Well its easy to do the math on the costs involved but I want to know how much does it actually use to begin with. Has someone actually measured it.
