I have both xboxes running avalaunch and connected using a crossover. The ip's are correct. So I start to transfer the files from one xbox to the other. The transfer goes along fine. Both LAN and HDD activity lights flash on both xboxes. Once the transfer is completed, I check to see if the files transfered...and they didn't

Try using the UnleashX dash on one of them. It has a built in FTP client thing and I can say from experience that it does a very fine job.

Could be that the information you're transferring to the new HD is being corrupted too. This can happen if you're trying to put more that 256mb of data on an HD without 32k clusters. Could be other reasons for corruption too, but I'm not aware of any.
