I have seen the tutorials that have you cut/dremel out the piece that you want to see and then add a window on the xbox itself. Is there anywhere were i can buy a clear replacment top for the dvd drive. It might sound like im lazy but the reason i ask is because 1. it looks better imo if the whole top is clear not just one little piece and
2. I have seen mods around the net that have these ether do it yourself projects or pre-made tops you can buy. If anybody knows where i can ether get a tutorial, weblink or anything that might benifit my quest so to speak please let me know. Thanx in advance to all who reply

why would you even post that. Your response wasnt helpfull at all, obviously i have searched on this site and google and the reason im asking is because i have not found what im looking for. a dud if i was u i would do one of my jerry riged things and use like a dimond blacd dremel and cuz out most of your dvd drive cover and only have a little little little bit still on only the middle and u screws


hey but most people thinck i have sucky advise i would ask other people what they thinck about it befor u do it

hey buddy you can get a crystal case with a clear dvd arm spindal but the dvd spindals only work for thompson drives i got mine off ebay for 20 shipped and its acrylic and ive had no problems even caught my brothers boy using it as a step to brush his teeth he was standing on it!!!! only problem i had was the dvd spindal i have a philips drive so i dremeled my cover here look

mines a hatachi drive so i guess that im going to have to dremel this and get a different look then what i initially wanted. thanks to all serious posts and to all the others, read the rules about flamming and forum etiquete (sp?) before you make a post.
