If any mods find this is helpful they can add it to the FAQ section.

nice tut, I've seen alot of people asking for one of these. But the right angle led's are 1204, not 1024. Anyways, this will be useful for me because I'm about to do the same mod sometime this week, as soon as my led's get here, and I'm using 0603s like you did biggrin.gif
again, good job.

Yes they are bi color, thats why there are 3 pads, one pad uses the normal color, the other pad is when it needs to use the other color. Thats why we are just soldering to 2 out of the 3 pads because i did not use bi color ones. You can buy them though.

nice tut

you think you could use two dif color smds that use the same positive and then connect the negativies of the smds to the two grounds to the sides? allowing u to have the second color if an error happens blink.gif

Blood,

I dont see why not. Im not going to worry about the 2nd color since you dont see them unless there is an error, i will just pretend "black" is my 2nd color ha ha ha. But yes that should work just fine.

All you got missing is how to install another set of 0603 so you get the error lights (which are very helpfull)
