I have tried to run a cd-rw and it freezes up when it loads i have also seen it freeze when i change the skin twice( as in I change it, then immediatly change to a different one and it freezes up)

Autoupdate not working for me either, even on a fresh install. It connects, tells me the update is available, lets me download it, then fails to install: file may be corrupt or damaged.

Information now on Xbins.

For those trying the live update and got "Your version is up to date", clear the 'server' entry for now. I'm also having trouble connecting to the other live update server, thus, the error.

Mine is auto downloading now. Been waiting for this for ages! Seems like it might be more useful with my boot disc now thanks to hard drive unlocking.

Bios flashing would be good but as hes said, he doesn't wanna put any features in that can kill an xbox, and thats cool.

Ok.....just after installing, the skin im using (modified a lot by me) is playing up. It is 'Xbliss', the menu is in the middle, video in the background and i put grey bars across top and bottom, half transparent with info on top, but since the upgrade, my text, all the info (free space, temps, song, date and time etc) don't work on that skin anymore! Others work fine, but why my skin, the one i always use??

And the hard drive temps, mines reporting 130, that must be in farenheight, cos its definately not that hot in celcius!
