I just installed an Xecutor 2.6 in my Xbox 1.0 and it boots fine into the xecutor screen and the backup screen, but wont boot normally. I had a problem initially with what I thought was the D0, there was a sticky pad covering one of the board contacts and I soldered to the one to the left of the D0 point. It got fucked up when I desoldered it and I had to use a curcuit writer pen to fix the pad and the runner. When I soldered to the correct point it started up fine. I havent tried to navigate with the xecutor screen, just boot. Any ideas on what I may have fucked up or what I should do to fix the prob. My buddy has an older version of the xecutor chip and said he had a similar problem that was software related. If you have any ideas, please let me know before I put this thing back together. Thanks

Navigate the xecuter screen? Like flashbios? You just need to boot with the chip disabled via the switches.

regularly a do problem is the cause of just out and out fragging or an error 13
i have had do problems before and ive never encountered this

the only time it wont boot to the ms dashin my idea is an error 13

this only happens when the c drive gets wiped( i think) it did with my mates softmod

sorry if this doesnt answer your question

Even with all the flash switches off it wont do it. It turns red for a secondwhen i hold in the power button, then the system restarts and boots from the mod chip again. If I keep holding the power button, it reboots itself like 3 more times. I just thought maybe i had 2 solder points touching or something. Any other ideas?
