i'm mostly replying to this thread because i noticed that NOBODY listed all that remains, which surprised me since there were so many other metal bands listed

so anyways, here's what i've been liking nowadays in no particular order

all that remains
korn
slipknot
mudvayne
queens of the stone age
tool
nine inch nails
linkin park
incubus
godsmack
billy talent
bullet for my valentine
alice in chains
rage against the machine
the white stripes
wolfmother

used to be obsessed with green day, but i pretty much burned myself out on them....maybe i'll get some renewed interest when their next album comes out (whenever that may be)
