How can I make to my LG HITACHI read cdr's?

Some time ago one man from this forum answered to this question but i can't find this topic and I don't remember how can I make this (I know only I must solder one Resistor but I don't know where) smile.gif

This thread has most, or all, Hitachi drive modifying information in it.

There are a few methods (such as this) to let the drive read CD-Rs, so I suggest reading through the full thread to find out the advantages and disadvantages of each.
