I run a repair shop and we happen to have quite a few xboxes that someone has dismantled for parts (quite a few as in a few dozen). They have separated the hard drives from the motherboards, and I was wondering if there was any way to match the hard drive to the motherboard without trying every single HD on every single mobo? Perhaps getting the hard drive's serial number from the hard drive unlock key stored in the xbox's bios? I have a solderless Xecuter3 chip at my disposal to perform whatever tasks necessary to make this happen.

Also, does anyone know of any wholesalers or retailers that sell smaller hard drives (8 to 10gb), perhaps in bulk? We do a lot of console repairs and until now, have directed customers with hard drive problems back to MS, but we are looking to provide a hard drive replacement as a repair option using the solderless Xecuter chip.
