When I'm in avalaunch, in the settings menu, I cant access the online skin browser. It goes to "downloading file list" and just hangs there. The problem isnt my IP, OR hardware. I installed about 5 different versions of avalaunch, and tried a different xbox on the same connection. Further more, the xbox that wont access that menu WILL ftp and go on Kai without a hitch.

Any ideas?

I know this thread is ancient, but I am desperately having the same problem

I tried to download the file list for an online skin server

Now my Xbox freezes... If I reboot, the skin server automatically tries to connect again !! resulting in another lock up

Help, please ?>?>?

UPDATE!!

I was able to get my Xbox to quit searching the servers for online skins and locking up my system

What I did

1. Unplugged ethernet
2. Booted Xbox
3. Quickly went to games, and started a game
4. Played a couple of minutes
5. Plugged in ethernet
6. Played a couple more minutes
7. Hit LT+RT+Start+Black to exit back to dashboard
8. Cured!!

That was a PITA.... Was worried I was going to have to use a boot disk
