I used a different exploit. Somehow my backup MS file in my E drive has the evox.exe file in it. I'd just delete it, but I'm not sure if that would cause problems. My gut feeling is I need to get my HDD back to retail (I would of course back up my E drive first). When I resore MS Dash, it seems to work, but that evox.exe file is still in the C drive.

Should I just restore and use Ndure, or should I use the Retail C folder from Krayzies disc, and replace my current C files on my Xbox with it, and THEN softmod with Ndure?

Hope this makes sense. I really appreciate any help.

Sorry, I'm still learning and get the names mixed up.

YES, I mean Slayers:)

So, would that be my best bet, put the C drive in from Slayer's Disc, while the Xbox is FTP'd?

Also, sorry if I had a link in my post that shouldn't have been there.

One last question:

I'm going through the different sytems on the slayers disc. One is called "Retail" and I thought that was the right one to put into the C drive, but it has "evoxdash.xbe" in it. So another folder called "All" has a "C" folder in it, and it has:

Audio
fonts
xboxdashdata.185ead00
xodash
XBox Book.xtf
Xbox.xtf
xboxdash.xbe

Is this the right folder to use for my C drive, since I want to revert it tot he original form?

Thanks.

Great! Thank you SO much! Looking forward to replacing the mod I have with Ndure. I've heard lots of great things about it.

Will it be pretty simple to use it to dual boot so I can have my MS Dash AND UnleashX (or Evo X)?

Also.... do you LIVE here? wink.gif This is better than MS support!

there are various variations of dual and tri boots and to what they boot. They are very simple to install using the extras.

and no I don't live here. I just walk by now and then

Well, it appreciated anyway. Some places you won't see a response from anyone for days.
