can i put avi videos on my xbox without putting them on a disc first. would i be able to ftp it over. if so, where and it what folder do i put it because i don't wanna screw anything up

YES, create a videos folder with your FTP client and put them in there.

If you have unleash X, Just go to File Explorer, and make a folder in the partition that has the most space, Lets say you upgraded your HDD , make a new folder on F: called Videos, Then from your ftp, just send the movie over to that folder, and from XBMC launch them.... And from what it looks like, if you posted this asking if you could put .avi videos on your xbox, you are a newb, and most likely without a modded xbox

can i put avi videos on my xbox without putting them on a disc first. would i be able to ftp it over. if so, where and it what folder do i put it because i don't wanna screw anything up you can't really screw much up, just put them in a folder dedicated to video's and make sure your media player searches that location. Usual locations are f:\videos\, e:\videos, f:\your media player location\videos, and e:\your media player location\videos. Streaming over a network is also a possibility, if your xbox is always connected to your computer through some means. |
