Hi I want to do a TSOP Flash on a 1.1 xbox but do not like the gamesave methods. If I Solder the points then softmod it using krazie's ndure v1.1 so that I can boot Eurasia Pro Flash Disc will this work? Or will the Shadow C mess it up or can I just go into professional mode. Reason I ask is because after softmodding your xbox bios in "Unknown" So I wasn't sure.

BTW I couldn't decide if this belonged in Here or TSOP Flashing please move If I posted in wrong place. Thank you.

I'm not too sure about how the Shadow C would affect it as I've never done a TSOP. If I were you I'd use Krayzies UXE 2.8 to softmod with. It is almost just like Ndure but it doesn't create a Shadow C and in my opinion it's the best non-Shadow C softmod.

uhm 2.8 also uses a shadow C. In fact even uxe 1.0 used a shadow C. I never created a non shadow C installer. But I don't think a shadow C would affect a tsop flash. Evox not listing the bios certainly has nothing to do with it.

Well I know it wouldn't let me flash eeprom so I thought it might do the same for bios. Should I turn on proffesional mode to play it safe or is that playing it stupid?

Having a shadowc doesn't really prevent from the writing to the physical eeprom, that protection comes from a setting in nkpatcher.

You should be able to flash your TSOP with no problems just as long as you can run software that can flash it (ie. evox or raincoat) and you bridged your write points.

also if your flashing with evox and you want to create a bios folder on C you might want to remove the virtual C img or filler img on the actual C to free up some space if your in professional mode
