Guess they were too busy working on nothing to remember to pay their domain bill. Kinda impressive considering they get $55-$60 for a chip.

so every single link we've ever posted to a page on their site now doesn't work.
example: teamxecuter.com/flashbios

That link is dead now. So tons of tutorials & other misc. links here on xs are now dead as well.

... and if you visit the NEW link, you'll notice the pictures are all gone now: http://team-xecuter.com/flashbios

Wouldn't it make better sense to just renew the old site instead of purchasing a new one?
Yeah, I know purchasing a new site is usually cheaper because of introductory and/or special pricing, but it just doesn't make sense for very popular site to just switch like that.

What kind of attitude is that? These people although making money have done so much for the Xbox community and here you are bashing them. No wonder they don’t release any news because people like you that no matter what they say will just try to bring them down.

Do they really? Or is that what the resellers charge? blink.gif
Normally when we buy stuff from the "official stores" it is marked up considerably from the actual cost they pay for quantities. I dont think xecuter are making as much as you thing when you consider the cost of the hardware (before it is added to the circuit board), the cost of PCB's, the cost of assembly and the cost of manufacturing/manu. equipment.

PS: normally such ventures make a little money alot of times wrather than alot of money off each unit.

Quote from team xecuters new site:
QUOTE
Due to the fact that we have been F'd in the A with the world's largest dildo we have had to change the domain name to www.team-xecuter.com

apologies for any inconvenience

The words in bold have been censored (by me), but you can obviously tell what they wanted to say.

Either way, they provided absolutely nothing more than a very brief statement (no explanation as to why they had to change domaine names).

Wrong.. xecuters (X3CEs anyways) have the lowest markup of any chip I sell (percentage of cost wise). Now, that's not saying it's cheap to make chips.. but don't go saying prices are high due to large reseller markup.. that's just wrong.

As for the domain, I sure do hope they get it back.. not all that hard to do as xecuter is clearly the rightful owner, though it'll cost a chunk of change unless they can coax the current domain holder to fork it over.

That is the resellers cost. If I had to guess I would say there is $10 - $15 worth of parts in a X3CE including the "extras" included in the kit. Could be even cheaper if they had someone in China make 10,000 at a time.

Even the other 4th generation chips are consistently $10 cheapper.

But there are other fine chips such as the DuoX2 that go in the $15 range through a reseller. The comparable Xecuter product, the 2.6 goes for $35.
