Yeah, well, basically the topic. I would use a spell except for the fact that I'm all warrior (Redguard, Warrior class, born under the Warrior), so my Magicka isn't very good. I'm looking for something in the form of a ring, but anything will do. All I know is that putting my weapon away to see isn't the best idea happy.gif

Oh yeah and I'm only level 6 so nothing too hard to get

P.S happy.gif <--Man I love using this

I found a permanent night eye helmet, but can't remember where/who I got it from.

The Fin Gleam Helmet can be found under the water on the coast of anvil.

I actually found a ring of nighteye in one of the very early Main Quests. It was the one where you meet the Mythic dawn in the sewers. One of them had the ring but it was I'm guessing it was random loot.

Just do the mage guild recommendation quests and enchant a ring yourself. The recommendation quests aren't that hard.

Niiice....do you know if you have to be a certain level for that?

Instead of using a torch, I maximized the brightness on my TV and that seemed to work...I've been able to see in dark spots since...

-Join the Mages guild and complete the recommendations quest.
-Buy a cheap night-eye spell if you don't have one
-Get some soul gems with souls in them (if you have trouble with this take some from a display case in any of the guilds or the university)
-Enchant any old ring with night-eye at the enchantment alter in the university.

Other enchantment recommendations are:
-life detect
-chameleon
-invisibility

I prefer the light spell instaed of night eye-- it hink there is a difference at leasT?

the night eye is kinda like night vision, but the light spell is mroe like a slightly green magical torch.

i agree. night eye is distracting and turns everything blue and black. the light spell is like having an artificial torch.

Night-eye is certainly optimal to Light. It has infinite distance, no shadows, and is only visible by you. Light for example creates acutal light in the game, so if you're sneaking up on someone in the shadows you are lighting up the area and increase the chance of being seen. Both effects definitely take away from the "atmosphere" of the game imo, but the dungeons get just to dark to do without.

Yeah, light is pretty useless IMO. I have the helm of the delver for night vision. I did the dupe trick and dropped it so I can wear other helmets and still get the effect. SO I have permanent night vision. Add the cowl of the druids (life detect) and my invisibility spell and nothing gets by me. smile.gif

I just ended up using some gloves of life sight. That way I can tell where monsters are before I can see them, and long before they can see me. Then I sneak up behind them, and get a critical hit. I think a warrior class would be difficult without sneak skills, because the 6X critical hit makes battles much much shorter.

That helm rocks
Since Im all warrior, and my sneak ability sucks, I just slice up guys, so if they see me or not does me no difference

other than the fact that it slows you down a bit >_<
