laugh.gif Im confused bro

how can you rate it a 8 and say its only *probably* worth $25?

an 8 is worth full price...

or what I'd rate it...how about 8 minus 6? yeah thats my rating, and thats being nice beerchug.gif

next week I will be giving "Rating 101" for a small fee, have paypal ready!

Hahahaha....
Yeah you would probably rate this game lower than I.

Anyways, I don't think 8's are worth full price.
But that's just me tongue.gif

everyones got their own system, but when you cant afford games, and want them all, your grading scale becomes a lot more thrifty

I would go for COD2 the multiplayer is one of the best I have seen in ages and graphics are amazing too....I have Oblivion and have GRAW but COD2 remains my number 1 and it is always fun and never ends since all the time new people and new fun on Live. Go and grab it now.

PDZ was the first game I got, it's hard to get into, the graphics are good but cartoony so a lot of people don't like that. the controls are hit or mis, in First Person view It's great and plays like any other FPS, but whenever you dive, or roll, or hide against a wall it zooms out into 3rd person and I found the games management in switching between the two views very clunky.

Playing through the first two levels on normal difficulty I was kind of bored and frustrated, even the menu system leading up to the gameplay was confusing as hell (not to mention kind of ugly). But I gave it a 2nd chance, cranked up the difficulty and did local co-op with a friend, we played through to level 4 or 5 and it was fun as hell. Once you get used to the game mechanics and get further into the single player it's much better IMO. I haven't played much past that as I've been distracted with other games, but I still have it and I plan on going back and finishing it at some point (just too many games to play right now).

I'm not much of a multiplayer fan, especially with FPSs but I tried some, Online was a ghost-town when I tried. No one was on the servers. I went into a game with only 2 other people and the level was HUGE. It was still really fun though we were all sneaking around making stealth kills on each other. I can see it being enormous amounts of fun with any amount of players. I even tried setting up a multiplayer match with nothing but BOTS and that was really fun as well. I thought the AI was decent.

It's not a typical FPS, I'd give it an Honest 7.5 (based on my raiting system: http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=506483 ) because it does have a few problems, but overall it's a good game and if you're a fan of the old N64 Perfect Dark I think it does it justice.

Don't bother with the LE version, it doesn't include anything really that special, I'd say only get it if you really like LE metal boxes (like me rolleyes.gif ) All the extra disc has is some gamer pictures and behind the scenes features, theres no extra game content to speak of.

I'd say it's definitely worth $30

Even if you don't like the PDZ single player mode (which I loved..) you'll no doubt like playing online. One of the most balanced and enjoyable online FPS games I've played for sure.

Maybe we are getting our lines crossed..

is that out of a 20 point scale? laugh.gif

Honestly, damn...youre hard to please, but Im glad your standards are high. Because of that, probably dont own any EA games beerchug.gif

After checking your games, I see FN 3 in the list. I'll let that slip by, afterall thats not your typical EA pile. Hell, I even DL'd it and played it for 3.5 minutes.

I'm a huge boxing fan and I have to admit that the Fight Night series is pretty good even if it's from EA.
Fight Night R3 is one of those games that's nice to have around when ever you have company.
(I didn't pay full price for it tongue.gif )

I'm hearing rumors that Visual Concepts is about to enter the boxing arena,
good bye Fight Night pop.gif

i enjoyed PDZ. I played through it Co-op with a friend it was really fun. the music is great too. right now (well not really right now but when i played it last) my friend and i were going to complete the game again on whatever the next difficult is, secret agent i think. honestly, i don't like multiplayer that much. the maps are HUGE and kinda plain. even objective games like ctf aren't that much fun. but it's a solid game, i'd give it 7 -8 out of 10.

Game Informer but let me clarify the rumor, they said the game would be coming from the 2K Sports brand.
So it doesn't necessarily mean that VC is developing the game.
Having said that, EA can buy out individual boxer rights but it can't buy out the sport since there is no league in boxing. There's plenty of other fighters out there that 2K can license since EA only got a handful in FN R3.
Plus it seems that EA's boxer licenses have a one year limit.

Anyways, back on topic.
Vhayne PDZ is one of those games that you'll have to play for yourself in order to really know if you'll like it or not. It's not a killer app but it deserves a quick sample.
A downloadable demo should be out soon, just wait for that.

If you didn't like FarCry, you will HATE PDZero. At least FarCry has an excuse, it's a port. People always bitch about the controls and the graphics of FarCry, but in my opinion they are superior to PDZero in every way. Do yourself a favor and get COD2.
