Ive been playing around with copying files to my xbox hard disk, and Ive come across certain restrictions. This causes lots of problems when batch transfering my mp3 collection.
Does anyone have any solid info on what is an allowable filename on a xbox filesystem? Id like to try and write a batch renamer. So far Ive found out (via google) that it is an enhanced fat filesystem with 42 max character filenames which dont support unicode chars or the ',' symbol. The most informative page I found was http://xbox-linux.sourceforge.net/articles...d=2002173055527 Does anyone have more information they could share? |
