Hi Everyone,

I haven't posted here in a while. I've been trying to get Windows ME to work under either DosXbox or Bochs. But instead I managed to boot ReactOS with support for full audio, mouse and keyboard. Although it does not run as fast as it would if installed natively, it seems to load programs and menus a LOT faster than 95 or 98. Here is a quick tutorial on how to do it: (A very quick one LOL)

Step 1: Install Bochs on your Xbox.

Step 2: Configure it to use the maximum amount of system memory possible (Yes, all 64megs of ram).

Step 3: Connect mouse and keyboard (I have found that in order to work, they must be connected separately.)

Step 4: Ftp to your Xbox and remove the "cdrive.img" file.

Step 5: Download the Bochs image of ReactOS and rename it to "cdrive.img".

Step 6: Copy it to the folder from which you deleted the original "cdrive.img" earlier.

Step 7: Reboot Xbox and launch Bochs. ReactOS will now boot.

NOTE: My Xbox has 128MB of ram, so it may run more slowly on 64MB Xboxes.

As I progress in the installation of Windows ME, I will post regular updates smile.gif
