Xbox Media Center will not play any dvd that i put into the drive. Is there a reason why this is happening?
I click "Play DVD" in the Left Collum of the "My Videos" menu. I need help

What type of dvd is it; movie, game, or data dvd? Is it +r or -r? You might have better luck with dvd+rw media.

Also are you sure your xbox can normally read that type of dvd. So can play anything while others need +r rather then -r.

you have a recent (made in the past couple months) build of XBMC i assume? also, what happens when you hit the Play DVD button?
in your system settings, do you have any auto-play stuff turned on?
if no, when you are at the home page and you insert the DVD, does the yellow |> button appear in the lower left corner (next to the scripts button)? if it does and you press that, what happens?
