Hello,
I'd like to know how to download files (for example a game) from a shared folder or a FTP server in a local PC to the Xbox directly, without sending it through FTP. In other words, Could the Xbox be a Samba o FTP client? Thank you very much for your help. |

Not for a game, but for streaming music or videos it is possible through XBMC.

you could connect using xbmc to any ftp site, or any smb shared drives on your network.
The xbox can work as an ftp client but not as an smb shared drive unless you are just in the xenium ice bios screen. |

Then with XBMC I can connect to a local ftp server and download files to the Xbox HD? and what about a dashboard or another application?
